Speeding On Pheasant Way

Has the speeding problem gotten any better? The other day I was walking on Pheasant Way and a car was going at least 40 MPH. I think that is 5 Miles over the speed limit. What do you think about the speeding problem?

  1. The school bus stops are a big problem, people don't stop so the bus takes up the whole intersection. There should be one stop on military trail just like all the other communities. There is no reason that the bus comes into Pheasant Walk at all.

  2. Nancy, the bus stopped here from the beginning, if you don't like being around children there are plenty of retirement communities available for people like you in Florida, maybe we should stat a discussion about old people driving?

  3. military trail stop is bad. sometimes these kids have to be waiting in the dark in the winter. would you put your kid at the military intersection in the dark before there's much traffic? 32 seconds for someone to stop, throw them in the back and gone. the bus should come into the community for the safety of our kids

  4. speeding? yes, there are the usual three or four offenders who go down fox hunt at 30 to 50 mph. you know who you are. we know who you are. you have been called on it before. please slow down and note the following:

    2000 feet at 20 mph = 68 sec
    at 40 mph = 34 sec
    at 50 mpg = 27 sec

take the extra 30 seconds to make our community safe. 30 seconds. took you longer to read this.

  5. Who is it that rides the loud motorcycle at 75mph down Pheasant Way at all hours? So rude!
