  1. In many cases, the homeowners association will voluntarily assume the responsibly maintenance items to retain appearance uniformity in the community. Examples would include, tree, sidewalk or mailbox maintenance, whereas the association would budget accordingly to provide for the repairs and replacement of these items and it would end up being much more cost effective for the residence. does anyone have any thoughts on this and if it should be brought up at the next meeting?

  4. If you have a functioning irrigation system, and temp's stay below 85, it is that time of year where you can use a weed and feed. It would be good to know what type of weed is growing in your lawn and make certain the product you purchase treats it. One other thought, look for a weed and feed product with a low first number (Nitrogen), anything over 15 is excessive.
With regard to your neighbors weeds, where you share borders, consider applying the weed and feed to the overlap, as long as you water there as well.

  6. Joy, thanks for the tip as well. It is great to have a place to ask these questions, I will do weed and feed this week and also try to see if my neighbor lets me do it on their property so I can take care of the source as well.

  8. Costco, is just around the corner they sell these big plastic containers which you can store in the attic like we do! It is great to have such big homes in middle of Boca Raton, I don't even know what to do with all the space here.

  9. about storing lights. if you have more than one string and more than one plug, quickly draw out how you've set it up before you put it away. put the "plan" with the lights. when you take them out next year you will know how you set them up last year.
